We are living in challenging times and the underbelly of our societies is being exposed in this Light of change, to be seen for what it is, broken systems that no longer serve humanity, and to be transmuted by Divine Love and Light. The initial shock and trauma initiated by the sudden change in routines has run its course and we are now asked to dive deep into the experience of being a human on this planet, at this point in human history. As above so below, as within so without. What we are seeing on the outside is also going on for many on the inside. This month we are really getting down to the nitty gritty of this experience as a planet. What is being brought to the surface from within for you to look at?
While many are getting used to functioning in a higher frequency of existence, others are just awakening and beginning their journey. Many Light workers have spent years sifting through their "stuff", those that are awakening now are just starting to go through their "Dark Night of the Soul" experience. There is a grief process, or other emotions like shame, anxiety, depression, loneliness, fear, emptiness or even boredom (a form of suppression), that we all go through, as we come to terms with the changes when our regular life style has come to an abrupt end, when we can't do the things we normally do, when we lose our jobs, family or friends, when the future seems uncertain. In these times of the Great Pause, as I like to call it, we are evaluating things in our lives, making adjustments to our thinking and behaviour, how we will show up in the future and what we want our world to look like. During this month of May, even if you're not consciously thinking about your values and how you would like the world to be, changes will still be happening because of the collective energy that we are currently in. Here are some questions to contemplate to get you on the path of thinking about your life on a deeper level for the future.
- What would you like to take forward with you from the world that was before the Great Pause?
- What don't you miss about life before this time?
- What would you like to leave behind?
- What are you doing now, having more time for now, that you would like to continue with once we are all out of lock down?
- What's important to you now?
- What is your future going to look like, what would you like to do next?
The energy seems to be focused on our Base Chakras, which are being re-calibrated in a very physical way, in this new energy. By the end of 2020 many will realise they have moved from fear, lack and survival of the old energy pre-corona, to thriving and abundance. In order for this to happen, we have to move through a range of emotions, do some deep, honest soul searching and some hard decisions need to be made to get to the next level. There is a tremendous amount of energy moving through each individual and as a result we see changes around sleep patterns, emotions can be volatile, life style decisions are being made at this time, the degree to which we are sensitive is changing, and even our relationships are being re-shuffled, as we begin to experience ourselves in a new way.
Many are feeling uncomfortable in their skins, this is because of the changes going on inside, at the DNA level, that will enable us to be more truthful to ourselves and to others. We are being encouraged to speak our truth, more than ever, in such a way that does not hurt the other, but we still express ourselves. Behaviour patterns are changing, thoughts patterns are changing, we are literally being re-programmed to be more of who we truly are.
One way we can create change in ourselves is to become aware of our words, as they make up who we are. We create with our words, with our thoughts, what we say, what we post... it all has an effect on our being and on those around us. Words, thoughts, actions have a frequency, an energy. The cells in our bodies are listening and resonating with this energy. If you swear, you are using low frequency words which have an effect not only on your being, but on others too. These words (frequencies) don't resonate with our soul and keep us out of alignment with who we truly are. These are old habits from an old energy and a broken system. They do not reflect self-love and they keep us disconnected from our truth and stuck in our ego. In the essence of who we truly are, there is only Love. So practice gratitude, compassion, understanding and praising and uplifting others. To get out of the habit of using low frequency words, you can:
- Set your intention to leave this old habit behind
- Be loving towards yourself as you go through this process of changing an old habit
- Use more kind and caring words towards yourself and others
- Observe your negative thoughts and words, become aware of them, so that you may change them
- Practice honesty with yourself and others
The most common theme I have heard from clients lately, is how polite people are. People are walking past each other on the street, keeping their social distance, but are acknowledging others with a "good morning" or whatever it is. Many are pleasantly surprised as they begin to realise, humans aren't a bad lot after all. It's just that we were too busy, too distracted, too tired to observe the social niceties. We will begin to see more acceptance and understanding in our relationships from now on as well.
Allow yourself to go with the flow. If you're having emotions rise to the surface, don't judge yourself. Just allow it. There's a reason for it, it may be your way of releasing so that you can move to the next stage of your evolution. So don't beat yourself up, acknowledge that you could have handled the situation better, give yourself some love. It's a challenging time to be human at the moment. This also goes for the circumstances in which you find yourself. Many may be feeling like "are we there yet?". They're chomping at the bit to get on with things, to get back to the way life was. Accept the changes, allow your circumstances, rather than resisting and struggling. The allowance releases the resistance energy, the fears of what might happen, so that you can focus on what's really important to you right now.
This is an uncomfortable time on the planet, there is so much chaos around us, so much mis-information being given out. It's going to take some time to sort through, for the shadow aspects to be brought into the Light to be transmuted. For many to find the courage to speak and live their truth. It's a challenging time to be in and it's an exciting time as well. What is most important, and I keep reminding all of my clients, is to hold a higher vibration. You are a magnificent being of Light, remembering your Divinity. You are already Love, you came from Love, you are made of Love. Love is all there is.
